Description
Stratton House Hotel was originally owned by the Masters family in the 17th Century. It was used as a private house by various owners who were prominent in the 'wool trade' that made the area so prosperous. Stratton House has been a hotel since 1947 and was acquired by Forestdale Hotels in 1989.

During the time that Robin Collins has owned the hotel there has been a substantial restoration and extension programme in progress.

As you enter Stratton House you are greeted by a Cotswold flag-stone floor, polished by the feet of visitors over the centuries. The warm restful ambiance of this beautiful old Cotswold house hotel envelopes you immediately. The peaceful Drawing room beckons you to sit and contemplate the beautiful walled gardens that it overlooks.

The Oak Room bar with its old oak parquet-flooring and enormous fire-place, is an ideal meeting place to see old friends and new over a drink before Lunch or Dinner. The Restaurant is a warm and enticing dining room that compliments the exquisitely prepared fresh English cuisine for which Stratton House Hotel is renowned. Overlooking beautiful walled gardens with an abundance of roses, fruit trees and magnificent herbaceous borders, it is hard to imagine a more delightful place to enjoy that quiet Sunday Lunch or Romantic Dinner.

The bedrooms at Stratton House Hotel are tastefully appointed and are all en-suite, with electric trouser press, hairdryer, remote control colour TV, direct dial telephone, Tea and coffee making facilities.

The new wing has 3 light and spacious, purpose built Conference Rooms. The Cotswold Room (1st Floor) comfortably holds 50 people for a meeting. Stratton Rooms I and II (Ground Floor) interconnect to accommodate conferences, dinner dances or weddings for up to 150 guests. The Library, in the oldest part of the house, is ideal for small quiet meetings.

Stratton House Hotel is the perfect location for romantic weddings, quiet meetings or for that peaceful 'stay-away-from-it-all' break.

Stratton House has ample car parking set within its own grounds.
